CUSTOMER AGREEMENT
We would first like to thank you for being a part of the Swetland Internet Family.
As the Internet world grows and changes, it is necessary to change along with it. These changes involve upgraded equipment and software for a faster more user-friendly Internet experience. Unfortunately, these upgrades are extremely costly for an advancing Internet service provider (ISP), therefore we need your help with the process.
In an effort to offer the best possible service, we have set forth the following Customer Agreement:
PAYMENT METHODS:
-Customers have the option of remitting payment by any of the following methods:
-Cash-Customers who remit payment using this method must bring payment in to our office. A deposit is also required at the time of connection.
-Check or Money Order-Customers who remit payment using this method may bring payment to our office or mail their payment. A deposit is required at the time of connection.
-Call in Payment-Customers may call our office during normal business hours and pay by Credit Card or Debit Card.
-Recurring Payments-Customers may elect to remit payment on a recurring basis by providing Swetland Internet, Inc with a valid working credit card or debit card. information. Once you are connected with our Internet Service, your choice of one of these three methods will be charged a monthly prorate. Prorates are charged if a customer begins service on any day other than the first day of the month. Customers are paying a prorated bill for the remainder of the month for which they begin service. Then, you will be charged automatically on the first of each month for your monthly billing invoice amount. Customers set up on a recurring payment basis are not required to pay a deposit at the time of connection.
-Online Payment System. We now have an online payment system in place. You may access this by going to our homepage at www.swetland.net and clicking on Pay Your Bill Online.
BILLING:
-If a customer chooses to remit payment by recurring credit card or debit card they do not receive a monthly bill. If your credit card or debit card transaction declines, we will contact you immediately by phone.
-All bills are invoiced on the 1st day of each month unless you are set up on semi-annual or yearly billing. If you are on semi-annual or yearly billing, invoicing occurs on the 1st day of the appropriate month. Billing is sent in advance, by email by the 25th day of each month for the next months billing.
-All accounts are due by the 1st of the month.
-If your payment is not received by the 10th, a $2 late fee may be assessed. Then, a statement of account, as well as a disconnection notice will be sent to you via email. The balance owed is due upon receipt. .
-If your account is not paid in full by the last day of each month; it will be subject to disconnection for nonpayment until payment is received. If you are 2 months past due it will be disconnected unless arrangements are made.
-Accounts disconnected for nonpayment may be charged a $15.00 reconnection fee, which is due at the time of reconnection. The entire amount owed must be paid before the service will be reinstated. If your account is disconnected more than once, you may be required to pay a deposit at the time of reconnection.
REFUNDS:
-If you sign up for a semi-annual or yearly account and decide to cancel service before you fulfill the term; you will be billed at the non-discounted rate of $20.95 per month for the months used. You will also be charged a recovery fee of 30.00 You will then be issued a refund, if due.
-No partial month refunds are issued. Refunds are calculated as of the 1st of each month following the date of disconnection.
-Refunds are issued 8 weeks after the date of disconnection of services.
PERMANENT & TEMPORARY DISCONNECTIONS OF SERVICE:
-Accounts must be cancelled by notifying Swetland Internet, Inc by phone or written letter. Accounts will continue to be billed until we are notified. If you are not using the service, on a temporary basis, notify our office so that you are not billed for the time you are offline.
SERVICES OFFERED:

-Internet Services provided by Swetland Internet, Inc. is as follows: Dial Up Unlimited Access, DSL in certain areas, Wireless in Certain areas. Two free E-mail account's, Free Internet Tech Support. If you have a computer related needs, Swetland Supply Co., Inc offers Computer Sales and Services. CONFIDENTIALITY:
-Accounts are assigned to individuals and no one may use another person's account. The account holder is responsible for the confidentiality of his/her password.
